Aqua Adventure At HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir: Indoor Water Park With S'pore's Longest Indoor Water Slide
At Aqua Adventure in Bedok at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir, the weather will never be a consideration when you want to have splashing day out at the water park.
As Singapore's first integrated all weather water adventure centre, the three-storey high Aqua Adventure has different play elements for those seeking out fun with family and friends.
HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir clubhouse can be found along Bedok North Road at the southwestern corner of Bedok Reservoir Park. The five-storey building is home to swimming pool, eateries, villas with park and reservoir views as well as an indoor adventure centre Action Motion.
Aqua Adventure at the Bedok clubhouse adds water play to the mix of activities.
The indoor water park is found on Level 2, beside the swimming pool, facing the waters of Bedok Reservoir.
Stepping inside Aqua Adventure, you will greeted by the sight of three-storey tall water slides.
Sprays, bucket splashes, dials and gears add on the air of fun at the steampunk-themed water park.
A draw of the Aqua Adventure is that it is fully sheltered, making it great in all sorts of weather. Whether it is scorching outside or pouring down cats and dogs, it is always waterpark time at Aqua Adventure.
The indoor water park isn't very large but it packs in more by going vertical to offer a mix of wet and dry activities.
At the heart of Aqua Adventure is a 1.2 metre deep pool. The Laze Pool is where you can get a soak and contemplate which play element to do around the water park.
It is a place to relax in between the various activities while hanging out on the cute floating pontoons.
Aquatic Specialists also organise programmes and games such as Tug-O-War and Captain's Ball at the Laze Pool.
Beside the Laze Pool, there are a limited number of seats and tables for those who don't wish to get wet but want to watch from the sidelines.
The highlight of Aqua Adventure is Singapore's longest indoor waterslide, Double Trouble slide.
The green closed water flume ride is 114 metres long and you can choose to either attempt it as a single rider or a pair with a buddy.
Grab a float and haul it up the stairs to get to the start of ride before slipping and sliding down the water slide.
Aqua Adventure's second water slide is orange-and-white and 85 metres long.
Take the plunge at the Blackhole slide for a 12- to 15-second watery ride before splashing down.
Head upstairs to try out the the Aquatic Challenge Rope Course where eight obstacles await. You will have to walk across narrow beams or hanging steps with water splashing down from buckets all around you for added distraction.
Of course you will be fastened in to a full-body harness but there is still thrilling to try to complete the two-storey high course.
For a bit of a change, head over to Scramble Net, one of the dry activities at Aqua Adventure.
First climb up the net to reach the obstacle arena where there are seven obstacle elements.
Swing from bars to bar and test your balance as you cross the various obstacles.
The last activity station at Aqua Adventure is Clockwork Towers. This is a five-lane climbing walls. The different walls are dubbed Clock Gears, Brick Face, Steel Speed (two lanes) and Pressure Pipes.
There are interactive elements and at Steel Speed, you can go head to head with a challenger to see who can get up to the top of the wall fastest.
